Sometimes the road has a wonderful way of bringing friends together somewhere completely unexpected.

Our friends Jeff and Aimee from Livermore, California, had recently purchased a beautifully equipped van and were beginning adventures of their own, camping around California and exploring other states.

So what were the chances that our travels would put both of our rigs in Bend, Oregon, at the same time? Apparently pretty good.

We spent time walking around downtown Bend, catching up and enjoying the simple pleasure of exploring together. Then Jeff and Aimee treated Kristi and John to a delicious Indian dinner.

After enough campground meals and food cooked beside YOLA, sitting down together for wonderful Indian cuisine felt like quite the luxury.
