Every once in a while, you meet people who have you laughing almost immediately. For us, that was Tanya and Dave (@letsturnitupworld).

Professional social content creators with two channels, Tanya and Dave understand the world of online storytelling far better than we do. But what makes them so entertaining isn’t simply what they create. It’s the two of them together.

Their back-and-forth interaction is priceless. Tanya is a wonderful storyteller, and her facial expressions sometimes seem capable of telling the entire story before she has even said a word. Dave’s reactions and their natural chemistry make the whole thing even funnier.

Since Kristi and John are still learning how to document and share YOLA’s journey, we naturally asked for their advice. We were expecting something complicated involving algorithms, posting schedules and editing techniques.

Instead, their advice was wonderfully simple: “Just be yourselves.” Don’t try to make everything perfect. Share the adventure, personalities, mistakes, laughter and real moments along the way.
